Waverly (also Waverly City) is a village in, and the county seat of, Pike County, Ohio, United States. The population was 4,408 at the 2010 census. The town was formed in 1829, as the construction of the Ohio and Erie Canal along the west bank of the Scioto River brought new growth to the area. In 1861 the county seat was moved here from Piketon.
Waverly is served by the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library. The current Mayor is Greg Kempton.
Waverly is the hometown of the Pure Prairie League, a pioneering band of the country rock genre.

It's a lovely town, great people

They have a first class retirement community that for a small fee seniors in Waverly can use their activity center and join the many classes or fun activities. You can learn a knew hobby or skill meet friends. You can exercise and they have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch. I was well accepted into the school community and worked full time until Covid .

Bristol village is here. It is geared towards older folks and is friendly towards them.

WE HAVE BRISTOL VILLAGE . THE ELDERLY LIVE IN THIS COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE A GYM A POOL ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITIES. THEN WE STILL HAVE ELDERLY THAT LIVE N APARTMENTS THAT R RUN DOWN AND THEY ARE LONELY N IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE
