The Town of Wareham has a large population of senior citizens living in the community. The Wareham Council on Aging identify the needs of Wareham Elders and made a difference in my mothers' daily life, which coordinates and provides services to elders, such as transportation, medical care and safety programs.
It's just a nice area
They have a Senior center, transportation, meals on wheels, overnight housing for homeless
Wareham is a tourist community because of access to the beach. So there are a lot of retirees and elderly that come fore the summer or choose to live here full time due to the beauty of the area.
It's an awesome place to live all year round. Friendly people and nice places to walk and stay healthy.
