Very good to seniors and veterans
Summerville, SC, is known as a friendly town adjacent to historic Charleston, SC. Due to an increase in businesses and manufacturing in our area, many new jobs are available. Entire subdivisions with homes and apartments are being built which have amenities. Our climate is conducive to many outdoor activities and beaches are within an hour's drive. Our educational system is highly regarded. Transportation needs are an issue, but many plans are being made to improve and increase roads and public transportation. The community has a variety of cultural activities, churches, clubs, and civic/service organizations that allow citizens to choose how involved they would like to be. Personally, I am active in church work, volunteering, and in a lineage society.
clean, respectful neighbors, caring, work hard community, communication.
Only been here for 4 years but it seems Cane Bay is very age friendly. Offering specials, discounts, offering to help bring groceries to vehicle etc.
