Simi Valley isn't the most age friendly but it can be a nice place to live. It is a little bit expensive but there are some facilities and tranquility.

SimiValley seems like a very friendly community to all its members, but especially to our vintage members. There seems to be a real sense of community in the older neighborhood the knolls where there are families who have been there for years.

No high rise buildings, handicap access at all locations, less expensive housing, easy access public transportation (train, bus), moderate temperatures all year long. One & 2 story homes, senior centers & housing facilities, many pharmacies, grocery & convenient stores. A great town to visit & work in.
