I am currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado and planning on moving to Rexburg, Idaho near future. I know that Rexburg is a college town but I would like to serve seniors who are still residing in town or in surrounding towns.
Most of the people here are nice, except for the students they are reckless sometimes.
Rexburg is home to Brigham Young University - Idaho. The local residents are fewer in number than the residency of the university. The community is rural and generally older. The population of the university far out numbers the local community. BYU-Idaho, is owned and operated by a large Christian church. Hence, the university population is very friendly to older people.
Rexburg, Idaho is a very family oriented and friendly environment. It really is a safe place of refuge for student and young children to learn and develop skills and grow to become future leaders. There are multiple transportations available and help if ever needed for both old and young.
There is no public transportation available, thus making it hard for our seniors to get to public resources safely.
