Pikeville () is a city in and the county seat of Pike County, Kentucky, United States. During the 2010 U.S. Census, the population within Pikeville's city limits was 6,903. Pikeville is a small town with a lot of southern pride. Most people in Pikeville, KY are working, striving with ones family to do as well as possible and practice Christianity being top priority.
Pikeville is a good place to live, not a real large town, we have nursing, dental school,optometry school and U Pike college, Big Sandy college, lots of restaurants, doctors, pharmacies, there is theater, Appalachian Wireless has concerts,shows and different things through out the year, most of our people are nice and friendly, we have Pikeville Medical Center for our hospital, have parades, Hillbilly Days, Christmas in July for the Shriners and different things through out the year,Good place to live.
Pikeville, is not a big town, most people are friendly and helpful, we have a college, University of Pikeville, nursing school, dental school has started, we have Pikeville Medical Center,our community is a great place to live, There is Hillibilly Days in April, money for Shriners, singing in the park sometimes! A show of old cars, just different things.
I worked for Big Sandy Consumer Directed. I went an work for a patient that I had to clean, cook, bathe, get dressed, take to doctor appointments
This is a very good neighborhood. Christian environment, friendly community. Local Grocery Store, close to local Hospital. Great school's.
