Most businesses are now handicapped ready and cater to the elderly
There is a large elderly population in this neighborhood/town/county in south central PA. The local fire hall is accessible to this population in emergencies, and also caters to them with activities including bingo and various suppers. There is also a new senior assisted living facility nearby with activities open to the public. However, the only public transit system is in Harrisburg, the state capital, 15 miles away.
