Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Thurston County. It was incorporated on January 28, 1859. The population was 46,478 as of the 2010 census. The city borders Lacey to the east and Tumwater to the south. Olympia is a cultural center of the southern Puget Sound region. Olympia is located 60 miles (100 km) southwest of Seattle, the largest city in the state of Washington.

The environment is pleasant. People are out and about no matter what the weather. People are generally friendly. There are many beaches, lakes and mountains to visit.

No, large number of overcast days per year, poor transportation options youth centric culture

Good: Good transportation, state capital, lots of activities and nice place to live..

Downside: expensive, noticed more young people working there

A lot of active retirees. Very large percentage of older citizens have college degrees.
