North Bend is a city in King County, Washington, United States on the outskirts of the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area. The population was 6,739 in a 2016 census estimate. Since the Weyerhaeuser sawmill closed, North Bend has become a bedroom community for Seattle, Washington about 30 miles to the west. The town was made famous by David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks. North Bend is home to Nintendo North Bend, the main North American production facility and distribution center for the video game console manufacturer Nintendo.
