Naples is a city in Collier County, Florida, United States. As of 2015, the city's population was about 20,600. Naples is a principal city of the Naples-Marco Island, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had a population of about 322,000 as of 2015. Naples is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States, with the sixth-highest per capita income in the country in 2012, and the second-highest proportion of millionaires per capita in the US. Real estate is among the most expensive in the country, with houses for sale in excess of $40 million.

There is literally no public transportation. Traffic "In Season" is atrocious. Jobs for people in their 70's - almost non-existent. Wonderful restaurants, but again, "In Season", getting a reservation has to be done 3-4 weeks before the date that you want. Wonderful art shows. Good theater. Good Phil. Lots of places to take courses for continuing education.

There are a variety of age groups in this community. It is a very small community, with a separate 55+ community. It is very age friendly.

Of particular interest is that Florida does not have taxes on social security. There are no estate taxes. There are no taxes imposed on inheritance.
