I honestly dont know I just moved there i havent really figured anything out about the neighborehood yet
Neither age friendly nor unfriendly
I think Merrimack is a great place to raise a family. For mature adults, they better be able to deal with harsh winters if they want to live here. Will need to be able to afford the cost of snow removal.
It's a great place to raise children. However, there isn't much for younger people (early 20s) to do. Younger people might be happier in nearby Nashua or Manchester. I think it's fine for mature adults who don't mind harsh winters.
Merrimack has something for everyone. There are great schools and several day care centers.
We have several restaurants/bars with various types of food choices.
Merrimack has a bowling alley, movie theater, YMCA gym, and the Merrimack outlet Mall.
If you are an outdoor person, there are several parks and walking trails, as well as a dog park.
It is near the highway and a quick trip to larger cities such as Nashua and Manchester.
Merrimack is a thriving community with a small time feel.
