I will start will the school system, the community for kids and elder like safety, education. Additional the support and assistant for those in need.
My current neighborhood is fairly age friendly. There is a retirement community down the block but I'm not sure how involved the community is with that group. In another part of town, there is another elderly community that I have always gotten the impression that the greater community does interact with and host events for.
There are no sidewalks on my street. The parking for the town center is very limited which makes access to the town offices or library difficult. It is assumed that one is upper-middle class, lives in a single family home, and has the means to get anywhere or have anything delivered to their door.
I feel my town is open and welcoming of older adults they have an active senior citizens program and have senior housing. We have quite a few stores and small shops that many seniors work at and a lot of them are known by many other residents young and old.
