  • A "Senior of the Year" designation, the winner of which is recognized at a mayoral dinner

Marlborough is a friendly, safe city. It has good potential for growth and prosperity. Marlborough has a new senior center and is beginning to serve its older residents better. There are several nursing homes and several 55+ condo developments.

It's an aging neighborhood, so it's kept up with me. It's fairly quiet, but also not walking distance to anything (except a hospital). I feel safe here as a 60+ single woman living alone.

I have not been in this neighborhood for very long but i do see a number of older adults i think because overall it is a quiet place easy access to shopping and food.
