Because it's still a small town, the people are very friendly, they watch over each other. just a great community.
Well, Sun City is probably almost half the population of the city. As well as multiple senior assisted living facilities in the original parts of Lincoln. The other half is new families, people who moved a bit further away from more populated cities. Variety of ages, about 4 elementary schools, 2 middle, and 2 High Schools. The city of Lincoln grew rapidly so the building of the schools past Elementry was a bit slow.
Lincoln is a very age-friendly town that offers a beautiful environment including preserved open space, parks and trails, many available through an age-restricted community. The vibrant downtown with shops in historic buildings is a setting for residents to meet and greet and eat. Three public golf courses offer opportunities and golf carts can be driven around town and to the main shopping centers. Nearby Sierra College and William Jessup University offer lots of interesting courses. Lincoln has a vibrant arts community including a theater company, museums, choral group, and center for the arts.
It's still a mall town, not to crowded. The town is very friendly, everyone watching over your neighbors. The schools are great for the children. Quit Neigborhood.
