good transportion people are very helpfull.
On transportation to see most of the care givers still drive their own cares
Over the past few years, the City of Leominster has implemented more age-friendly improvements like, freshly painted crosswalks, more wheelchair accessible parking spaces, buses and entrances to public buildings. We have several Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. There are also a variety of indoor events and outdoor festivals throughout the year for people of all ages to attend.
One Summer, years ago, I volunteered to support a Mah Jong group at our Senior Center. As a former Activity Director for Sunrise Assisted Living, I was impressed with the range and quality of activities, the number of outings and the quality of the free lunches they offered.
