Don't engage with people unless at post office or "corner" grocery store
Can't afford to live on your own here. High cost of living because this location is near Washington, DC. Not much opportunity for RNs like myself at 68 year old. No buses out here. There is a community college and a Catholic University about 30 miles away. It's a lovely rural area, but nothing much is close by. Supermarket and drug stores about 7 miles. No nearby restaurants.
Friendly, quiet community of mixed ages, general livability, semi-rural (7 miles from city and downtown area), community engagement, people helping people.
