In general, unless you are
a contributing adult to society, the area doesn't gear it's activities towards you. This became evident during the pandemic, which resulted in a high rate of illness and death in the area. Certain nationalities and age groups suffered more.
The reason my neighborhood is age friendly is because there is many things to do for people of all ages, there are all types of healthcare facilities. Schools, churches, hospitals, healthy food are all within walking distance.
