Neighbors been here just as long as I have lived here. Good neighborhood watch. Friendly neighborhood and low crime.
Waikiki appeals to a wide variety of ages.
The community respects and accommodates and is kind to the senior population. Activities such aqua aerobics, majong games, and tai chi abound.
Hawaii has a large Asian population and Pacific Islander population. Traditionally these cultures are very respectful to their kupuna (eldery community members). There are many activities available for seniors including majong games, tai chi, water aerobics, seminars on fall prevention and other relevant topics, as well as physical accessibility to public areas. The community is also sensitive and caring to the senior community as a whole.
