Paid parking and trash that lays everywhere!
There are many seniors who have lived in Hanover their entire lives. This contributes to the "friendliness" of the community towards seniors in general…the large population of other seniors.
Senior living bldgs and activities, etc.
People in Hanover, PA are very friendly and love volunteering, helping others. There is a strong sense of community and a lot of pride in this town. There are many different retirement homes, communities from inexpensive to quite expensive. We have a small transportation system which is a bus to take people around town for a good price. We have a lot of people who contribute their time to various charities and have many, many churches for a small town. It is a really good place to live and raise a family and many of our older population were born and raised here. Truly a great town.
The Community is safe, friendly and I have loving friends around me and it's very quiet too.
