Glenside is a very freindly community. There are local schools where adults and seniors have been invited to volunteer and are much appreciated by the staff and students. Hopefully, after Covid is beat, these opportunities will return. With three main business sections, employment opportutnies for seniors and young people abound. Transportation within the suburbs and into center city is easy with bus and regional rail lines. Education facilties include Arcadia University and the nearby Penn State Abington campus that offer educational and community programs that are famous. There are a number of physician and dental offices in the area and a major hospital, Abington Jefferson Hospital, is just down the street. There are several volunteer fire stations in town and fire protection is just a minute or two away from most of the town. There is a mix of older and newer homes and apartments, making the area very livable.
All units are two floors plus a basement and large yards.
There are alot of playground and sport activities on almost through the whole year.
