Fort Mill, also known as Fort Mill Township, is a town in York County in the U.S. state of South Carolina. It is a suburb of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina and is located north of Rock Hill. As of 2015, approximately 13,662 people live inside the town's corporate limits with a total of 36,119 people residing within the entire township. Some businesses and residents in the Indian Land community of neighboring Lancaster County often use Fort Mill as their city address as it is the nearest incorporated area, but the official town boundary is located only in York County. The Fort Mill area is home to notable businesses such as the headquarters of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, DCI World Champions in 2013, LPL Financial, Continental Tire the Americas (Lancaster County), LLC., Domtar, Mood Media, Springs Industries, AECOM (Lancaster County), Shutterfly, Red Ventures (Lancaster County), and Daimler Trucks North America.

I've only lived here 4 mos. but it seems friendly enough to me.
The neighborhood is family orientated.
I feel like this community is somewhat age friendly because we have elderly people who live in this neighborhood, most of them lived here for a while now.
Every one is quiet, traffic ends early.
It's a very friendly place to live. A lot of young families, with a lot of grandparents at their side.
