Fayetteville is the third-largest city in Arkansas and county seat of Washington County. The city is centrally located within the county and has been home of the University of Arkansas since the institution's founding in 1871. Fayetteville is on the outskirts of the Boston Mountains, deep within the Ozarks.

The Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas will commit financial and human resources to enhance the lives of the Northwest Arkansas senior and elderly community. We provide a wide variety of services to the community, including: 

Adult Day Centers & Services, Care Coordination, Family Caregiver Support Program, Housing, In-Home Services & Assistance, Resource Directory, Meals on Wheels Provider, Medical Supplies, Personal Emergency Response System (Life Alert), Senior Activity Centers

Services Include:

Adult Day Services: The adult day care provides the participants with essential care and attention, hot nutritious meals, recreational activities, physical exercise, and social interaction while family members work, participate in community activities, run errands or just get away for an afternoon off.

Care Coordination: If you are becoming eligible for Medicare, our Care Coordinators are trained to help you navigate the maze. Office appointments are available to review all Medicare Prescription and Health plans to find one that best meets your needs. 

In Home Services: Under the guidance of registered nurses and caseworkers, the Area Agency on Aging provides assistance in the home for disabled or frail elderly persons who need help with daily living activities.
