The place is age friendly because even though there is some crime in this town the people that do live here care about their community the bus offers free rides during the summer and free internet in the bus. Also, they have cooling centers for homeless. They have different programs for children.
Its age friendly, near Palm springs, people are friendly here.
Age friendly because of easy access to public transportation and location of several senior facilities. Housing is more affordable than other nearby cities. However town has a reputation that may discourage seniors from living there (crime rate primarily)
I am in a,55+ gated park community. The people are so friendly. It is,out in the middle of no were, but there are busses, and in town there is everything you might need and there are two, hospitals not to far away in Palm Springs, and Palm Desert.
They need to invest in there city it really does not have anything to offer very run down
