I think the community is growing in providing age friendliness. Delafield offers many natural hiking and biking trails in addition to recreational opportunities through neighboring Park & Recreation departments. Businesses provide a healthy focus to community members through fitness and locally sourced natural and organic foods. The local library offers occasions for seniors to pick up info on a variety of topics, attend lectures, read the daily news or a book of their choice. We are near comprehensive healthcare providers in Oconomowoc and Waukesha. The size of the community may limit transportation, education and workforce postings, however, the proximity to surrounding communities provides easy access to these needs.
