Dallas is a small town in Gaston County, North Carolina, and a suburb of both Charlotte and Gastonia. The population was 4,488 at the 2010 census. It was named for George M. Dallas, Vice President of the United States under James K. Polk.

General livability
I think this area is age friendly because almost everyone is in the same age bracket. There are a few older individuals who live throughout the community. Its very quiet, everyone pretty much stays to themselves, minus a few occasional hello's and good mornings.
It's becoming more of an age friendly community throughout Dallas, NC with all the updates.
