Asheboro is a city in and the county seat of Randolph County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 25,012 at the 2010 census. It is the home of the state-owned North Carolina Zoo.

They do allot with the senior citizens here to keep them entertained and active
Slower paced friendly town in the heart of North Carolina. Young people do not find it appealing because there is no Starbucks, no night life, nor any trendy places; on the other hand, older folks love it here for the same reason. Only downside for us is that it is hard to find good doctor(s) in town; must go to Greensboro/Triad, Charlotte or Raleigh/Triangle.
