Comfort Keepers® is united by a common goal. That goal is to provide the best in-home caregiving services to aging seniors who wish to maintain their independence. Everyone from administrative assistants to home health aides at Comfort Keepers is committed to making this goal a reality. In doing so, they care for each client with the respect and dignity we would provide members of their own families. In fact, many of their independent owners have been drawn to Comfort Keepers as a result of their their experiences in caring for a loved one.

At a time when seniors feel as if their independence is slipping away, they strive to provide high quality in-home caregiving services that give seniors the opportunity to continue living in the comfort of their own home. After all, there is no place like home.

Their in-home senior caregiving services provide a wide range of assistance with day-to-day tasks that help seniors continue living their independent lifestyle.  Experienced caregivers can help with everything from light housekeeping and grooming, to meal preparation, prescription reminders, and running errands.
They understand that in-home senior care is not a "one size fits all" solution. Everyone has unique needs that need to be met in order to continue to live safely at home.

Services
Grooming, and Hygiene
Comfort Keepers’ goal is to assist their clients with their personal care routines so they can look and feel their best. Studies have proven how effective and positive it is for seniors to have regular hygiene and grooming. For clients who fear falling while bathing, or have physical or cognitive limitations that make bath-time difficult, their caregivers are there to help. They can assist with shampooing, shaving (with an electric shaver), hair combing and styling, and other grooming needs.

Mobility Assistance
Remaining active in your golden years is one of the best ways to maintain the quality of life. Their caregivers help seniors remain active by assisting them in getting from place to place in comfort and safety.

Transferring and Positioning
One of their top priorities is helping their clients move around their homes. This may include getting in and out of bed, chairs, and wheelchairs. Proper transferring and positioning can contribute to reducing bedsore risks. This also helps reduce muscle atrophy, while encouraging proper breathing and digestion. It can also lower the risk of falls and injuries, as well as keep their clients as comfortable as possible.

Toileting and Incontinence Care
They understand the sensitive nature of toileting and incontinence care for their clients. Without proper help, seniors can face many issues. Medication Reminders
Although their caregivers cannot administer medications, they can assist in ensuring that clients take their medication as prescribed. Their caregivers can help with opening medication containers, reading labels, and reminding the client when it is time for the next dose.

Grooming Guidance
Paying particular attention to grooming can help a senior feel and look better. As a person ages, grooming can sometimes present physical challenges. Their caregivers assist clients with shampooing, shaving, hair combing and styling, and other grooming needs so seniors can look and feel their best.
 
Comfort Keepers®: Custom Care Plan
Although their caregivers do not dispense medication, they are still able to assist with medications. This includes providing reminders of when to take their next dose, as well as opening containers and reading labels. These helpful reminders safeguard that your loved ones are taking their medications as prescribed.
