Known for a provocative pop-culture career, Madonna’s career has spans roughly four decades, but recent criticism of the icon has seemed to be thinly veiled anxiety about her age and a double-standard around her continuing to seek the spotlight. She’s compared to younger stars like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga, and according to research, Millennials view her as “embarrassing” and “desperate.”
Never one to shy away from controversy, The Queen of Pop has embraced her new warrior persona in an upcoming interview with British Vogue.
